5 Tips to Stay Consistent with Workouts During the Holidays

Try these tips to feel great when life gets busy!

While the time period between Thanksgiving and News Year’s can be filled with merry making and joyous gatherings - it is also a time for feeling overwhelmed with all the things to do on top of what we typically do. The decorating. The baking. The shopping. The extra social events and gatherings. This can leave us feeling untethered, out of our routine and probably struggling to keep up with our typical fitness routine.

First, if this is you and you are feeling stressed or anxious about being out of your routine, start by taking a deep breath and reminding yourself that this is just a moment in time. You are not going to lose all of your gains or progress by having to take some down time, reload time and/or changing up your workouts.

In this episode of the Strong and Simple Podcast, I discuss my top 5 tips for staying consistent with your workouts during the holidays.

  1. Be Realistic

  2. Plan (look for moments and times of opportunity)

  3. Simplify

  4. Shorten

  5. Have Fun!

I go in depth into each of these topics in the episode that you can find on apple, Spotify, google pods and stitcher as well on You Tube! I hope this episode is useful to you and would love to hear from you which helped the most, if you have ay other tips and if you have questions.
